Croft Lodge is situated in a an idyllic and peaceful countryside location in rural North Yorkshire. Just eight miles north of York, this is an excellent base for a holiday which combines England's most historic city with some of the most beautiful countryside in the country. The Yorkshire Dales, Yorkshire Moors, Yorkshire Wolds and Yorkshire Coast are all within easy driving distance, as are the attractions of Castle Howard and Fountains Abbey. You'll never want to leave!

Sutton-on-the-Forest is an outstandingly pretty North Yorkshire village, and is the home of Sutton Park Stately home, which is within easy walking distance. Also within the village are two excellent pub / restaurants serving real ales, fine wines and good food. The village is host to several events throughout the year, including the Huby and Sutton Show in late July.

The holiday accommodation is a newly renovated apartment designed for a couple or family, within a very old part of our family home. It is completely self-contained and fitted out to a very high standard. We offer a variety of different board options including

and self-catering. We can also supply you with freshly prepared meals to heat up and serve, with advance notice.
