The Gardens
Croft Lodge holiday apartment
overlooks extensive and mature gardens, which are available by arrangement for the enjoyment of guests. There are two main areas to the gardens - the open lawns and flower borders in front of the house, and a wildlife garden area to the rear, which is reached via an arbour walkway.
Within the wildlife garden is a pond with a small island where the ducks nest, and you might enjoy going for a row. If you keep quiet and still for a while, the moorhens and dragonflies and all manner of small birds and animals will become visible.
If you stay with us in late summer or autumn you'll find all sorts of fruit ripening in the orchard, from apples and pears to raspberries and gooseberries.
Just one confession - the bouncy castle in one of the photos isn't a permanent feature, unfortunately!
